1983 Honda CR480R,This is a beautiful frame-off, professionally restored 1983 CR 480R. Everything was done right on this bike, starting with the powder coated frame in factory Honda red, and finishing with the clear-coated factory number plates done in European USGP racing green. Every nut and bolt is either new old-stock from Honda or in perfect condition, cleaned and reinserted. All cables, seals, gaskets, washers, filters,vent hoses, fuel line, grips, kill switch, throttle housing, etc are NEW. New top end, new clutch, new brakes, new tires, new wheels laced with stainless spokes, new carb internals with updated jetting specs, new plastics, chain/sprockets, graphics, updated BBR triple clamps with new Renthal Twinwall bars mounted, new Pro Circuit pipe, DG Silencer, Twin Air filter, new, updated modern-style foot pegs, freshly rebuilt Race-Tech suspension with Gold Valving internals and new, stiffer spring rates....We have over 150 hours and countless dollars into this bike. Every available factory part was replaced. All bolts/screws, etc were reasembled with locktite to ensure the bike is solid and remains that way. From the photos you can see that some parts have mild polishing as well, including the fork legs, kickstarter, rear brake lever, outer rim edges, and more. The bike runs perfectly but still requires break-in, as it is all new on the inside. You will not find a better, true to the era-but updated CR480 in the United States. This bike comes with the original catalog sheets and original magazine articles from 1983, all bound in a booklet specifically for this motorcycle.
